Privacy notice

Your name, email address and phone number when you sign up. The details of your bookings and applications, including documents you upload, such as an ID or a pay stub. Messages you send to hosts through Cozi Stay.

For payments we keep the amount and the last four digits of your card. The card number itself stays with our payment provider.

To run your bookings, applications and leases. To take payments and send refunds. To spot fraud and keep accounts secure. And to meet legal obligations, such as keeping financial records.

The host or landlord of a home you book or apply for sees what they need to decide and to rent to you.

Our payment, hosting and email providers handle data for us under contract. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it. We don't sell your personal information.

While your account is open, and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to keep lease and payment records. [RETENTION PERIODS TO BE CONFIRMED]

You can view and correct most of your information in your account settings. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it. Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and we answer requests within 45 days.

We encrypt data in transit, limit staff access by role, and scan every uploaded document for viruses before anyone can open it.
